History

HOW IT ALL BEGAN

Protocube was born in 2006 from the pioneering idea of three students from the Polytechnic University of Turin to use three-dimensional modeling and additive printing technologies for creative fields, making them more accessible and suitable for small direct production, exploring very different areas. From the basement of Via Piazzi in Turin, many ideas, many projects, many 3D printed objects have gone around the world to show the potential of 3D modeling in the product lifecycle.

A first important 3D configurator for an iconic Italian footwear marks the growth of the team and the differentiation of the business towards the development of digital applications that make the visualization of products in high quality the main feature. In 2016 Protocube becomes Reply, joining the large international group with its vertical skills on 3D.

From 3D configurators and various applications that have, as a common denominator, the high visual rendering of products on the various digital touchpoints, Protocube Reply builds the 3D Platform, a DPC (Digital Product Creation) solution dedicated to companies to digitize various workflows related to the Product Development process and generate in an automated way the content that allows the Digital Product to reach the communication and retail channels in a fast, effective and sustainable way.

Development of applications for product digitization with 3D technologies and specific skills on product design and Additive Manufacturing make Protocube Reply, today, a company that faces challenges on various Industries (with a particular focus on Fashion, Luxury and Lifestyle products) both independently and in synergy with other teams in the Reply international network.
